Final Touches to Flyer
For the final, we wanted to break up the words a little bit because the paragraphs were looking a bit too much for anyone to want to read. Breaking them up and highlighting certain words gets the point across more quickly. We added white boxes around the text as well to define it some more.
I also drew up a clearer version of the lined paper at the bottom because the image wasn't working so well (people will be able to rip this off and keep it stuck to their fridge at home).
We added the different coloured houses to
create pacing between the different sections and also integrate the imagery in the front into the back of the flyer.
The front of the flyer was developed quite a lot since the last iteration. The middle section shows children playing games, adults
shown talking to eachother, and also elderly people were incorporated aswell, and the trees included aswell. All this shows the result of the event.
The top section has specific event information, and an vector of the barbecue to show what will happen at the actual event.
The bottom section has emergency contact information (conveniently placed in the part of the flyer that people will rip off and keep.) and a car next to that which shows car pooling, but also goes along with the emergency theme of the section.
