I started off with this at interim critique and this is the component that i have been having the most trouble with so i knew that it was going to need a lot of work. People commented on things that we already knew. It's much too crowded and busy and doesn't show what will be happening at the event
The addition of the coloured boxes adds structure without taking away from the childish style. The soccer ball adds a visual cue for what will be happening at the event. We are planning to draw a barbecue and maybe a few other things to add more visual cues.
Changing up the colours of the boxes makes them stand out more against all of the colours. The most important information is highlighted by green and the white.
